ABOUT THE SERIES:
சொல்லிசை (‘Rap’ in Tamizh) Verses is a passion project by Singaporean-Indian Hip Hop artiste Lady Kash - presented as a video series featuring rap stanzas written and performed live from the studio. Each episode referred to as a verse, contains original songwriting from records which are unreleased, published, in progress, film soundtracks and more. With the personal intention to keep this offering as real, raw and intimate as possible, both the recording format and visuals of this series have been kept minimalistic with dim lighting reflecting the actual mood in the studio. The audio you hear are vocals recorded on a regular mobile phone to selected beats.
