In 1983, in Coimbatore, Madanagopal, a bachelor, envisions his future wife as his dream girl, captivating from head to toe. But his parents arrange his marriage with Bhagyalakshmi, from a... wealthy, influential family, shocking him with her appearance in a photograph - chubby, unappealing, far from his ideal.
